Dennis Shearn, founder and owner of Shearn Landscaping, started his professional career as a computer programer at the young age of 24. After two long years of programming, Dennis grew tired of the unfulfilling work he no longer was passionate about.

In 1987, Dennis chose to ditch computing and he took the risk by registering a LLC for his own landscaping company. This decision was partly made for his love of being outdoors and staying active. However, this career change was also motivated by the one thing Dennis wasn't seeing within the industry.

Time after time, Dennis didn't see nor hear about personalized service in an industry responsible for the care of your home's outdoors. Knowing this, he knew he could deliver a service that would forever change people's opinions about lawn care and landscaping. To this day, he still speaks with and will go into deep detail about a customer's questions, concerns, and goals for their property. He's taught this same standard to his three sons (Andrew-Tim-Matt), so he can guarantee his company's values live on.
